Our solutions are capable of integrating weighbridges from any weighbridge manufacturer and can accommodate axle weighing, axle groups or entire trucks depending on the weighbridge. Most of our customers have some unique requirements built for them, be it in custom process, reporting or integration with their ERP. Our customers also use the systems capabilities to manage processes and to automate the bulk loading process.

In the drive to ensure system security and identify both users and other persons interacting with our system, Mastech has integrated the use of biometrics. This is the latest upgrade to Wayware and users can now login using their fingerprints.

Where login-id's and passwords can still be passed on from one user to another, the use of a fingerprint reader from Lumidime, Crossmatch, Futronic or digitalPersona to access the system requires the correct user to be present. In cases where a user needs to override a system parameter the system could also ask him/her to present a fingerprint before proceeding, first checking the level of authority and then linking that individual to the transaction.

Weighbridge software also works with vehicles and drivers, and although the driver does not normally access our system, it is very important to be sure which driver was responsible for taking the truck over the weighbridge and departing with the load. Our system is also using the fingerprint scanners to check if the driver has completed his induction training and links the specific driver to the transaction.

Mastech's software factory in Menlyn Pretoria has started implementing Scrum, an Agile management framework. "In order to boost productivity and get our customer requirements ready for shipping faster, we have decided to implement Scrum." said Ben Cilliers, newly appointed GM at Mastech.
